Right of withdrawal

The right

If you are a consumer you may withdraw from a distance contract with us within 14 days without giving any reason and without paying any penalty. This is your right under Portuguese law, and nothing on this site reduces it.

How long you have

• The period runs for 14 days from the day you, or a person you name other than the courier, take physical possession of the goods.
• Where an order arrives in several parcels, the period runs from the day the last item arrives.
• You only need to send your decision before the 14 days are up. The goods can follow within 14 days after that.

How to withdraw

1. Tell us. An email to support@poderinfantilshoes.homes saying you are withdrawing is enough. You may use the model form at the bottom of this page, but you do not have to, and you do not have to give a reason.
2. We reply with a return address and a reference. Quote it on the parcel so the refund is not held up.
3. Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us, in a condition that reflects no more handling than you would have given them in a shop.
4. Keep proof of posting. It is what starts the refund clock if a parcel goes astray.

Trying shoes on

You are entitled to handle and try the goods as you would in a shop. For children’s shoes that means:

• Indoors, on carpet, with the sock the shoe would actually be worn with.
• As long as you need to decide about the fit — walk around the house, check the heel does not lift, press for the gap in front of the toes.
• Keep the box and any packaging until you are sure. It is not a condition of the refund, but it protects the shoes on the way back.

Outdoor wear goes beyond establishing fit. Grit in the tread, scuffing on the outsole edge or wear across the sole pattern all show a shoe has been worn outside, and that ends the right to return that pair. We would rather tell you this before you order than after you post it back.

Where goods come back with a diminished value because they were handled more than necessary, we may reduce the refund by that amount and we will explain exactly how we calculated it.

Refunds

• We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you proving you have sent them — whichever comes first.
• The refund goes to the payment method used for the order. There is no fee for this.
• We refund the goods and the standard outbound shipping. If you paid for a faster service, we refund the standard rate rather than the premium.
• Refunds are made in US Dollars (USD), the currency you were charged in. If your card is in another currency, the amount that lands may differ slightly because of your bank’s rate on the day; that difference is between you and your bank.
• Where a first-order discount was applied and you return part of the order, we recalculate the discount on what you keep.

Return postage

• You pay return postage when you simply changed your mind.
• We pay when the goods are defective, when we sent the wrong item or size, or when the parcel arrived damaged.

If we had not told you

Where a trader fails to inform a consumer of the right of withdrawal, the period is extended to twelve months. We are telling you here, on every product page, in the bag and at checkout, so the ordinary 14 days apply — but the rule exists for a reason and we would rather you knew it.
